Everyone can help spread the word about Community Sponsorship

You don't have to be a member of a Community Sponsorship Group to start spreading the word. Promoting Community Sponsorship is a great way to support the programme and contribute towards its growth when you aren't able to get involved yourself.

Here's what you can do:

1 Be active on social media
Start tweeting and posting about Community Sponsorship. Remember to use #CommunitySponsorship to join the conversation! Find Reset on Twitter (@ResetUKorg), Instagram (@resetukorg), and Facebook (@resetcommunitiesandrefugees): follow us, like us or tag us. We'll retweet you and share your posts!

Want to get started right away? At the bottom of this page you'll find a tweet already written and waiting to be shared!

2 Email your contacts
Why not send an email to your contacts to let them know about Community Sponsorship and why you think they should get involved? If you don't know what to write, you can use our email template. Simply download the document and copy and paste the message into an email.

3 Host a mini information evening
A great way to get people interested is to host an information evening in your workplace, your place of worship or even in your home with your family and friends. Contact us and we'll send you a powerpoint presentation that you can use along with videos and other materials. If you'd like someone to come and speak at your event, just get in touch. We'll either send a member of Reset's team or connect you with members of local Community Sponsorship Groups. You can add your event to the Community Sponsorship Calendar

You can never predict who's going to set up a new Community Sponsorship Group, but you can be sure about one thing: no one can start a Group if they don't know about Community Sponsorship... So let's spread the word!
