What support is available for Community Sponsorship groups?

Groups that decide to get involved with Community Sponsorship have lots of support available to them from lots of different sources.

Reset offers support in a number of ways:

  • We provide face-to-face training to every group.
  • We have created a Training Website, where you can access resources which will help you with everything from setting up your sponsor group, to navigating the application process, to supporting the refugee family once they arrive in the UK.
  • We can check your application before you send it to the Home Office to make sure that you have included all the necessary details.

Our team at Reset is always more than happy to chat with you if you need more advice or guidance. We can speak with you over the phone or via email, and we can even come to visit your group. Just get in touch

Reset's partner organisations

At Reset, we've partnered with lots of different charities all over the country that can also provide you with guidance and support. When you set up a group, Reset can put you in touch with our partner organisations so that you have support from a charity that suits you and your group. All of our partner organisations know the Community Sponsorship process inside and out so they will be able to answer questions about the application process and about what to do once the refugee family have arrived. If you want us to put you in touch with one of our partner organisations, get in touch with the Reset team!

Your fellow Community Sponsorship groups

We can put you in touch with other Community Sponsorship groups so that you can hear first-hand from communities that have already been through the process. The Reset team can also share with you examples of best practice that we've collected from lots of groups around the country. If you want to be connected with other groups, or want to know more about how other groups have approached Community Sponsorship, contact the team at Reset.
